Photography
My photography is determined by the subject matter I shoot. In my personal work I think of concepts surrounding the subject matter and adjust the camera settings and edit around this concept. When photographing I love to look for moments in what seems like a busy composition.
High Aspirations Events
When photographing for them I try to look for genuine moments in the large groups of people that attend their events. I also look to capture the excitement and fun the mentees experience while participating in the planned activities. A single photo can display the effect an organization like this has on the community.
Smokey Mountains National Park
A collection of images I took on my hikes in the Smokey National Park during Fall. The concept was to capture images that reflected the cold yet growing ecosystem that grows during the Fall season in the park. Dark shadows and apertures focused on the vegetation gives the feeling of moisture. The series of images was also focused on Biodiversity in the park.
Wildlife
The album focused on the capturing of different kinds of animals. I attempt to capture the characteristics of various animals in their habits. Emphasizing the behavior or appearance of each animal and its correlation to its environment.
